Virginia Consumer

Andrea "Andie" Driffill is a consumer advocate, media strategist, and the founder of The Virginia Consumer, a watchdog platform dedicated to exposing issues affecting Virginia residents and newcomers. With a background in communications and media production, Andie’s work centers on transparency, accountability, and protecting consumer rights. Through The Virginia Consumer, she aggregates critical news, connects citizens with resources, and challenges systemic deregulation, regardless of which political party is in power. Her advocacy stems from firsthand experience navigating Virginia’s broken regulatory systems, particularly in the construction industry. Andie’s work serves as both a call to action and a roadmap for reform, equipping Virginians with the knowledge to fight back against corporate overreach and government neglect. As Executive Producer and co-host of "The Rabbit Whole Podcast", Andie explores her family's story as well as concepts like ethics, government, culture, and the lingering impact of the regulatory failures, government inaction, and corporate influence over public policy that harms the American consumer.
